Television and Film Violence Essay Does the brutality in films and on TV add to savagery in the public eye? This inquiry has been bantered for a considerable length of time. During that time around 2,500 books and articles have been composed on the impacts of TV and film viciousness on human conduct. In this article would sum up some the most recent deduction regarding this matter. The aftereffects of one of the most broad investigations at any point done regarding the matter of savagery and TV were discharged in 2003. Analysts followed 329 subjects more than 15 years. They found that the individuals who as kids were presented to rough TV shows were considerably more prone to later be indicted for wrongdoing. Young ladies who observed in excess of a normal measure of savagery would in general toss things at their spouses. Young men who grew up viewing vicious TV demonstrates were bound to be rough with their spouses. Analysts finished up in Developmental Psychology that, Every brutal TV show builds somewhat the probability of a kid growing up to carry on more forcefully. As you may know, the V-Chip permits guardians to bolt out TV programming they think about frightful to their youngsters. Despite the fact that the worry in Canada was basically viciousness (subsequently the V-chip), in the United States there is likewise incredible worry about sexual substance presumably more than in most other industrialized social orders. Consequently, the V-chip can be modified to screen out both savagery and sex. Cause-Effect Proof An unmistakable reason impact connection between media brutality and viciousness in the public eye is muddled by the way that kids are commonly presented to numerous improvements as they grow up, a considerable lot of which could assume a job in later conduct. For instance, during a childs life we cannot limit the job of such things as savage computer games, the social estimations of guardians and friends, or general day to day environments. In the event that you eat something that you have not attempted previously and quickly become ill, you will most likely accept theres an immediate connection between the two. What's more, if at some later date you disregard your first experience and eat something very similar once more, and quickly become ill once more, you can be genuinely certain that whatever you ate makes you wiped out. No advanced science here, simply clear circumstances and logical results. Tragically, with regards to viciousness in the media, the circumstances and logical results isn't as promptly obvious. A couple of decades back you would see specialists in TV ads embracing a specific brand of cigarettes. Numerous clinical specialists smoked. Not today. Today the proof is clear: smoking is the main source of preventable heath issues and unexpected passing in the United States. Despite the fact that for quite a long time the cigarette producers stifled proof that connected smoking to medical issues, in the long run the reason impact relationship got evident to any individual who needed research the realities. In contrast to the circumstances and logical results in the case of your eating something and promptly becoming ill, the impacts of cigarette smoking arent quickly evident. Its lone years after the fact that numerous smokers create lung disease, heart issues, emphysema, sexual issues, and so on. Similarly in the wake of taking a gander at long periods of gathered information were presently perceiving a connection between viciousness in the media and social issues. The aftereffects of an investigation discharged in March, 2002 that followed 700 male and female young people over a seventeen-year time span demonstrated an unmistakable connection between TV seeing propensities and demonstrations of animosity and wrongdoing in the later life. All other conceivable contributing ecological components, for example, neediness, living in a savage neighborhood, and disregard, were calculated out of this investigation. As per one of the creators of the examination, the discoveries help concrete the connection among TV and brutality. The examination is point by point in Science. | Violence and TV Ratings Its notable that TV brutality holds a fascination for most watchers and this fascination converts into appraisals and benefits. Along these lines, most media officials have been hesitant to concede that media viciousness is in any capacity answerable for brutality in our general public. On the off chance that it werent for the evaluations and benefits included, makers would without a doubt be substantially more ready to recognize the mischief in TV and film brutality and take care of business. After numerous secondary school understudies passed on in a shooting frenzy at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado in April, 1999, numerous individuals rushed to accuse the media. Rough computer games and a notable film were viewed as contributing components. All things considered, an unmistakable circumstances and logical results is difficult to set up. For instance, a large number of youngsters were presented to both of these impacts for the duration of their lives without going on a deadly frenzy. Be that as it may, when you include outrageous annoyance, simple access to weapons, and an unconcerned and flippant demeanor toward the lives of others, the outcomes can be totally different. Marketing Consumer Behaviour Consumer Preservation
Question: Depict about the Marketing Consumer Behavior for Consumer Preservation. Answer: Presentation Upgrading on the customer conduct has become a typical subject for some associations. The contention on the side of the buyer conduct is easy to comprehend. Placated shoppers are accounted for to have higher purchaser conservation rates, commit a bigger portion of their gathering paying out to the firm, as they are probably going to prescribe others to end up being the customers of the business (Beckett, Hewer Howcroft, 2000). To screen the general execution and the guide for development, the organization for the most part rely upon the buyer reaction. The input is gotten by means of the customer conclusions that contain the proportions of fulfillment, the repurchase goal just as through the verbal. The examination done by numerous organizations is planned at researching on the every now and again utilized consumer loyalty measurements just as the progressive client practices (Belz Peattie, 2009) .On the client measurements, it looks on the parameters like consumer loyalty, client de sire, client esteem and the repurchase aim. The buyer reaction idea to the commercial center disappointment has altogether affected the marvels like the brand devotion and the repurchase plans. For the retailers, it has been a different intrigue in light of the fact that the retail foundation is typically a road for the grumblings of the buyers (East, Wright Vanhuele, 2013). This report dissects on the examination of the charge perspectives from the gathering grouping as indicated by Singh article and my situational reaction from the previous section A. Further, coordinating on close to home reaction to the circumstance to the portrayal of Singh. The report likewise clarifies the customer conduct hypothesis to portray the job of desires, fulfillment, and grievance utilizing the purchaser conduct distinguished. Do you think your objection conduct is more impacted by your perspectives, convictions and conclusions in the table above or by the particular circumstance? Why I think the viewpoint like perspectives, convictions and assessments impacts the grievance conduct. The explanation am stating this in light of the fact that to buy something you need to like the item relies upon your demeanor every now and then. Besides, its on what you have confidence in, if the item isn't acceptable you won't get it, and your sentiment with respect to a specific item matters instead of others. These components extraordinarily effect on the customer conduct instead of a given circumstance. For instance, you can't buy something in light of the fact that your companions or relative sentiment on that item is acceptable. Contrast your reactions and an individual who responded contrastingly to you. What highlights did they select in their table? For what reason would they say they are distinctive to you? My companions reaction to grumbling was unique in relation to mine. I have given her reaction on the table beneath. On a portion of her reaction they are like what I reacted. Grievance ATTITUDES Buyer Alienation Most organizations care nothing at about the client. Concur Oppose this idea Individual Norms I regularly grumble when Im disappointed with business or items since I feel it is my obligation to do as such. Concur Oppose this idea Social Benefits By submitting questions about inadmissible items, over the long haul the nature of items will improve. Concur Oppose this idea Hope Voice Accepting you whined about the circumstance in point 1 above, how likely is it that the association would take care of your concern and give better help to you later on? Likely Improbable Hope Private Accepting you announced the circumstance in direct 1 toward your companions (who utilize a similar association), how likely is it that your companions would quit utilizing that association out and out? Likely Improbable Hope Third Party Accepting you announced the circumstance in guide 1 toward a purchaser office, for example, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), how likely is it that the ACCC would make the mechanics shop deal with your concern? Likely Improbable Worth Voice How likely is it that you would grumble to the association in point 1 in the event that you were almost certain the association would take care of your concern and give better help later on? Likely Improbable Underneath table demonstrates her reaction to the circumstance 1 HER RESPONSE A B Significance of the circumstance High Low Did you feel humiliated? Truly No Have you at any point griped already to an association? Indeed No Was it simple to grumble to the supplier this time? Indeed No Was there a ton in question (monetary? Social? Wellbeing?) Indeed No What sort of individual right? I support what I accept is correct I am not the sort to gripe Do you figure the organization ought to have taken care of things better Indeed No Were you with family/companions who didnt need you to grumble No Indeed Did you whine? Indeed No The reaction were distinctive in my circumstance since I respond diversely on different circumstance from my companion for instance reaction in the event that I had grumbled past to me I have never griped to an association however to her she has done so a few time. Its everything about her purchaser conduct which is not the same as mine. 5i) Comparison of the case perspectives to the bunch gathering to Singh As indicated by Singh, he has four arrangements of the gathering grouping of an individual dependent on the case these are passives, voicers, irates, and activists. These characterizations will be contrasted with the grievances mentality reacted from the past circumstance 1 and figured out which I fall at. Inactive bunch gathering of buyers speaks to those disappointed and whose expectation to whine are beneath normal on the part of voicing objection to the suppliers of the disappointing assistance. On this sort of gathering, they are least to make any move, as they seem, by all accounts, to be predictable with the non-grumblers fragment (Quester, Neal, Pettigrew, Grimmer, Davis Hawkins, 2007). Correlation of this is submitted on my question demeanor on the estimation of the voice result I specified that I would probably gripe to the association to take care of my concern and offer a superior support later on. This case shows am the person whose goal to gripe the part of voice grievance. Accordingly, I can't bomb in this gathering of individuals. The subsequent bunch is the gathering of the voicers. On this gathering of people are described unhappy clients who certainly are underneath the normal on close to home just as outsiders activities. Significantly more particularly the individuals have next to no compelling reason to take an interest in the negative switch support (Wierenga, van Tilburg, Grunert, Steenkamp Wedel, 2012). By and by, they might be biggest on the voice component, meaning that the client emphatically complaints to the specialist co-op to getting the correct .Comparison to this is my demeanor to fight reaction on the estimation of private angle showed that I would probably make reference to the circumstance to my companions who might likewise quit utilizing the association through and through. Further reaction to the estimation of the outsider methods I would most likely report the frequency to the buyer office with the goal that the association will change the circumstance. This accordingly shows I don't f all under this class as the purchasers are beneath normal on close to home and the outsider activities. The following gathering group is the irates, which speak to the aggravated purchasers who appear better than expected on close to home reactions just as better than expected tendency to dissent legitimately to the vender. The clients not simply gripe straightforwardly to the specialist organizations yet moreover change support. In any case, the shoppers are not as liable to hold onto any sort of outsider activities. Correlation with the response I gave on the objection mentality, I may probably make a move to the outsider and report the occurrence to purchaser organization. Further, on the worth protection, I would most likely make reference to companions and family members who might prevent utilizing the administration from the association. I would not fit into the gathering as a result of a part of significant worth gathering; the people in the gathering are more averse to make outsider move, which is in opposition to me. The last bunch is the activists who speak to disappointed customer who are included by all the above viewpoints all the more so whining to the outsiders. They look to some extent like the idea of the customer extremist. Correlation with this gathering I show the qualities in all the above measurements. Resemble an extremist particularly when I reacted I likely report the occurrence to the shopper organization (Gunter Furnham, 2014). Further, when I didn't get the request for the dress, I finished from the suppliers messages, internet based life post, and messages. Extra, I would almost certainly specify the circumstance to the companions and family members. This show is happy to go over the edge all together the retailer to review on my issue. ii) Response to the circumstance matches with the Singhs portrayal of my bunch My reaction to the circumstance coordinated the portrayal giving by Singhs on the way that it grumbles perspectives displayed looked like the circumstance that was given from the examination (Solomon, 2014). It investigated on how the disappointed client appeared on changed measurements like the outsider, and the private activities. Job of desire, fulfillment and grumblings utilizing conduct hypothesis Purchaser fulfillment is the focal segment in the advanced promoting thought and practices. On the idea, it underscores on conveying of the shoppers and acquire a decent return for the association (Evans, Jamal Foxall, 2006). Along these lines, the general personal satisfaction is relied upon to be upgraded. The buyer conduct hypothesis that would be utilized is the

Top 10 Application Tips #9 Tracking and Communication COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY - SIPA Admissions Blog
Top 10 Application Tips #9 â" Tracking and Communication COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY - SIPA Admissions Blog This is the 9th entry in our series entitled Top 10 Application Tips. I highly recommend that you take the time to slowly read this entry as it will answer many of the questions we have been receiving by email. I know it is a little long, but hang in there because this entry will help you to understand how you can track what is going on with your application after it has been submitted. Do please note that you cannot change any information on your application after it has been submitted. Also, and I cannot emphasize this enough, when an application becomes complete in our system has no impact on the decision. What does matter is that all application information is submitted by the deadline. It is normal for us NOT to have all applications completed for up to three weeks past the deadline. We manually review each application for completion and this takes time. Do not panic if you log in after you have submitted your application and see that it is not marked as complete. The Committee does not start to meet until three weeks after the deadline and there are reading rounds so to speak. By this I mean that not all readers read at the same time and thus not all applications need to be ready at the same time. Thus if your application is not complete until well after the deadline this is not something to be concerned about. When your application is complete you will receive an email from us letting you know. If there is an issue with your application that needs to be addressed we will contact you. Now on to the visuals . . . #1 : You Are Working On Your Application But Have Not Submitted It Let us start with what you see when you log in to the application system while your application is in progress and has not been submitted. This is what you will see when you log in. Note that next to Submission Status it says Not Submitted (at the end of the red arrow). In this example, the applicant has also entered the names of the three recommenders and they are displayed, along with the status. #2: You Have Submitted Your Application Now lets move on to when you submit your application. When you log into your application after it has been submitted the main page will show the message Submission Status: Submitted (see arrow #1). You will also notice in this example that one letter of recommendation has been submitted (see arrow #2). At this point no documents will show up. Do not worry, this is because we have not printed your application yet. #3: We Print Your Application This Does Not Typically Happen The Same Day You Submit The next step that will occur is that we will print your application for review. Do understand that it can take up to 15 days for us to print your application after it has been submitted. Please do not panic if your application has not been printed. The important thing is not when your application is printed, the important thing is that your application is submitted by the deadline. If you look at this next picture you will notice two changes from the picture above. First, the status has changed to Application Printed Manual Review of All Information Submitted In Progress (see the red arrow #1). Second, arrow #2 shows that we have not marked your application as complete because we have not finished our manual review. We need to make sure we can read your transcripts for example. Third, you will notice that transcripts, test scores, and other supporting documents now appear (see red arrow #3). Please note that the default status for the following documents, if you uploaded a document, at the time your application is printed is Received Official Academic Resume International Fellows Program Essay Personal Statement Standard/CV Resume We find that the vast majority of our applicants submit documents that are legible and complete so the default status is Received Official. Do note that in some cases there are issues with these documents and if so, we will contact you. Special Note: the IFP statement is not mandatory and if you did not submit an IFP statement it might not appear, or if it does appear it could read Not Applicable, Not Received, or Waived. Above the Other Supporting Documents section you will see test scores. Please note that the default status for the test scores at the time your application is printed is Not Received even if you entered the scores. This is the same for transcripts the status after we print will read Not Received. After we manually review your application this information will be tracked. If there is an issue we will contact you. Please do not panic at the message Not Received even if you self reported your scores and uploaded your transcripts this is normal. We find that some applicants will not enter all of the information so we will perform a manual check to make sure we have all of the information we need. Also remember that we do not look for official test reports until after admission offers are made WE ONLY USE SELF REPORTED SCORES to make admission decisions so please do not contact us at this point in time to see if we have your official scores on file. In the above example the native language of the applicant is English so TOEFL is marked Not Applicable. If this were an applicant that speaks English as a second language this will read Not Received. The last comment for this example is, please ignore the message on the bottom near arrow #4 that says Submission Status: Not Submitted. That references a part of the application we no longer use but it is hard coded into the system it means nothing. #4: Complete All Documents Tracked But Not Sent to Committee This next picture shows that we have everything we need. All the letters are submitted and we accept unofficial transcripts and self reported test scores for admission review. However the status shows Incomplete and above that you will notice is still says Manual Review of All Information Submitted in Progress. A final sign off must be made before the file gets sent off to the Committee and this one is just waiting. #5: Complete . . . But with a Question This next shot shows you the message Documents still pending Application is Under Review with the Application Status below that reads Complete. This is a case where we have everything we need, however there may be an issue we feel we need to resolve before the file is sent to the Committee. There is no need for you to contact us if you are in this status. If there is a question we need to ask you, we will contact you. #6: Complete Sent to Committee! This final shot is when you know your application has been sent to Committee. You will also receive an email from us when your file is complete in case you do not want to compulsively log into the system to keep checking =) You can see on the top that it states Application Complete No additional documents. As a reminder, please ignore the submission status at the bottom. Last year our application was in two parts and it is not possible for us to get rid of that message at this time. It means nothing so ignore it. Thank you for your patience as we work to complete several thousand files in a short period of time. If documents were submitted by mail it will likely take us longer to complete your file. Again, when a file is complete has no impact on the decision of the Committee. Please keep reading this blog for more details on the admission review process.

I Am A Police Officer Essay - 1805 Words
If I went around asking people, ââ¬Å"how many people want to be a police officer?â⬠Iââ¬â¢m pretty sure Iââ¬â¢d get funny looks. I want to take you back to a time where I was sitting in my dentist s office, laying down on the plastic covered chair, with a bright light in my face and an uncomfortable noise coming from the metal tools scraping my teeth. Im sure everyone has had an experience with dentist who tries to have a conversation with you while they are working on your teeth. As I was trying to communicate with my dentist, she said something that made my day go from just a normal day to an extremely pleasant day. ââ¬Å"Hey, I remember you telling me you were thinking about being a k-9 police officer, I have a patient who is one, do you want me to put you in touch with him?â⬠. An Investigation Into Different Theories Of Modern Curriculum
Attn: Dr. Bobby Burns Superintendent of Schools, Carrollton/ Farmers Branch Independent School District Thank you for your inquiry into different theories of modern curriculum. I believe that while we have served students from CFB very well, there are a number of viewpoints that warrant consideration when redrawing our K-12 curriculum. As you are well aware, our student body is very diverse. In fact, there are nearly 4 times as many Hispanic students than any other group. (Carrollton Farmers Branch Demographics, 2015) Our aging curriculum has taught many thousands of students important facts and skills to make them successful in life after their time at CFB. However, it is apparent that a number of our curricular guides teach from aâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦As they study American History, they hear tales of Christopher Columbus, sailing the ocean blue in 1492, the pilgrims surviving the harsh realities of the American landscape and the heroes that spread across the North American continent. Later, our students learned about the tremendous philanthropists like Carnegie and Rockefeller, playing a pivotal role in creating our uniquely American culture. However, when the role of hero is constantly played by the same cultural archetype, young people not matching that standard my not find relevance in the historical perspective. For example, including an account of the culturally rich century Han dynasty (BBC News, 2015) in counterpoint to the Western perspective, may function as a catalyst to a much broader multicultural understanding. In American History, accounts from Native Americans and Central American Indigents should be presented alongside the tales of Columbus and Pissarro. They may provide a meaningful exchange for our 80 Native American students as well as a more accurate perspective for all students. To augment lessons on great American philanthropists, a narrative of the many African American construction workers who toiled during the building of modern New York City could assist in creating a more complete picture. It is important to mention that creating a more multicultural environment does not require the removal of achievements accomplished by people of a European descent. George Mason University

Digital Fortress Chapter 15 Free Essays
Susan Fletcher sat at her computer terminal inside Node 3. Node 3 was the cryptographersââ¬â¢ private, soundproofed chamber just off the main floor. A two-inch sheet of curved one-way glass gave the cryptographers a panorama of the Crypto floor while prohibiting anyone else from seeing inside. We will write a custom essay sample on Digital Fortress Chapter 15 or any similar topic only for you Order Now At the back of the expansive Node 3 chamber, twelve terminals sat in a perfect circle. The annular arrangement was intended to encourage intellectual exchange between cryptographers, to remind them they were part of a larger team-something like a code-breakerââ¬â¢s Knights of the Round Table. Ironically, secrets were frowned on inside Node 3. Nicknamed the Playpen, Node 3 had none of the sterile feel of the rest of Crypto. It was designed to feel like home-plush carpets, high-tech sound system, fully stocked fridge, kitchenette, a Nerf basketball hoop. The NSA had a philosophy about Crypto: Donââ¬â¢t drop a couple billion bucks into a code-breaking computer without enticing the best of the best to stick around and use it. Susan slipped out of her Salvatore Ferragamo flats and dug her stockinged toes into the thick pile carpet. Well-paid government employees were encouraged to refrain from lavish displays of personal wealth. It was usually no problem for Susan-she was perfectly happy with her modest duplex, Volvo sedan, and conservative wardrobe. But shoes were another matter. Even when Susan was in college, sheââ¬â¢d budgeted for the best. You canââ¬â¢t jump for the stars if your feet hurt, her aunt had once told her. And when you get where youââ¬â¢re going, you darn well better look great! Susan allowed herself a luxurious stretch and then settled down to business. She pulled up her tracer and prepared to configure it. She glanced at the E-mail address Strathmore had given her. [email protected] The man calling himself North Dakota had an anonymous account, but Susan knew it would not remain anonymous for long. The tracer would pass through ARA, get forwarded to North Dakota, and then send information back containing the manââ¬â¢s real Internet address. If all went well, it would locate North Dakota soon, and Strathmore could confiscate the pass-key. That would leave only David. When he found Tankadoââ¬â¢s copy, both pass-keys could be destroyed; Tankadoââ¬â¢s little time bomb would be harmless, a deadly explosive without a detonator. Susan double-checked the address on the sheet in front of her and entered the information in the correct data field. She chuckled that Strathmore had encountered difficulty sending the tracer himself. Apparently heââ¬â¢d sent it twice, both times receiving Tankadoââ¬â¢s address back rather than North Dakotaââ¬â¢s. It was a simple mistake, Susan thought; Strathmore had probably interchanged the data fields, and the tracer had searched for the wrong account. Susan finished configuring her tracer and queued it for release. Then she hit return. The computer beeped once. TRACER SENT. Now came the waiting game. Susan exhaled. She felt guilty for having been hard on the commander. If there was anyone qualified to handle this threat single-handed, it was Trevor Strathmore. He had an uncanny way of getting the best of all those who challenged him. Six months ago, when the EFF broke a story that an NSA submarine was snooping underwater telephone cables, Strathmore calmly leaked a conflicting story that the submarine was actually illegally burying toxic waste. The EFF and the oceanic environmentalists spent so much time bickering over which version was true, the media eventually tired of the story and moved on. Every move Strathmore made was meticulously planned. He depended heavily on his computer when devising and revising his plans. Like many NSA employees, Strathmore used NSA-developed software called BrainStorm-a risk-free way to carry out ââ¬Å"what-ifâ⬠scenarios in the safety of a computer. BrainStorm was an artificial intelligence experiment described by its developers as a Cause Effect Simulator. It originally had been intended for use in political campaigns as a way to create real-time models of a given ââ¬Å"political environment.â⬠Fed by enormous amounts of data, the program created a relationary web-a hypothesized model of interaction between political variables, including current prominent figures, their staffs, their personal ties to each other, hot issues, individualsââ¬â¢ motivations weighted by variables like sex, ethnicity, money, and power. The user could then enter any hypothetical event and BrainStorm would predict the eventââ¬â¢s effect on ââ¬Å"the environment.â⬠Commander Strathmore worked religiously with BrainStorm-not for political purposes, but as a TFM device; Time-Line, Flowchart, Mapping software was a powerful tool for outlining complex strategies and predicting weaknesses. Susan suspected there were schemes hidden in Strathmoreââ¬â¢s computer that someday would change the world. Yes, Susan thought, I was too hard on him. Her thoughts were jarred by the hiss of the Node 3 doors. Strathmore burst in. ââ¬Å"Susan,â⬠he said. ââ¬Å"David just called. Thereââ¬â¢s been a setback.â⬠How to cite Digital Fortress Chapter 15, Essay examples

Quick Look At Gun Control Essays - Gun Politics, Firearms
Quick Look at Gun Control Gun control has been a controversial issue for years. A vast majority of citizens believe that if gun control is strictly enforced it would quickly reduce the threat of crime. Many innocent people feel they have the right to bear arms for protection, or even for the pleasure of hunting. These people are penalized for protecting their lives, or even for enjoying a common, innocent sport. To enforce gun control throughout the nation, means violating a persons Constitutional rights. Although some people feel that the issue of gun control will limit crime, the issue should not exist due to the fact that guns are necessary for self defense against crime, and by enforcing gun control is violating a citizens second amendment right to bear arms. Guns are evil to some, because of the violence that they create. People express guns as weapons of homicide. They insist that, the more guns with which our society equips itself, the greater the likelihood for accidents or violent acts involving fire arms to occur. It is a proven fact that handguns have been the murder weapon of choice. Guns are involved in half of all homicide cases. People believe that society has relied on weapons that create harm and criminals. Therefore, these weapons should be outlawed. However, law abiding citizens have the right to protect themselves against danger. Due to the ownership of guns, burglaries have reduced considerably. A gun is a tool, guns don't kill people. People kill people. The matter depends on who is using the gun, and what situation it is involved in. Purchasing a handgun legally is a complex procedure. The consumer must go through a two month waiting period. These procedure guarantee the innocence and reliability of a gun owner. The second amendment states the citizens right to own and bear firearms. Freedom to poses arms is a guaranteed citizen right. If the constitutional rights of a citizen are violated, it can be a complex issue. In the case of US vs Miller during the year of 1939, The supreme court voted against individual rights to bear arms. Nothing can destroy a government more quickly than its failure to observe its own laws. This is why all citizens should be aware of all of their constitutional rights. Enforcing gun control is not going to have an effect on the crime rate, because it will not keep criminals from purchasing weapons. If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns. If a person is willing to pay a price they will get what they want. Gun owners have to protect themselves from these criminals, and all gun owners must be informed of their second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
